ABOUT WRITING
1. How did the writing process differ between your first book and now?
I’m not sure the process differed . . . it was a jumble like completing a jigsaw.
2. What advice would you give a new writer, someone just starting out?
Write about something you like or know about – a short story or poem – then write it again only better – see where you can improve on your first attempt.
3. How do you handle writer’s block?
Go for a walk and talk to someone about my writing plot/story/character.
4. When did you first consider yourself a writer?
I haven’t . . . I’m still learning.
5. Describe your writing space.
A laptop surrounded by books – papers – coffee cups - pictures.
6. What is the most difficult part about writing for you?
Joining the beginning to the end.
7. What does success mean to you? What is the definition of success?
Success is a finished novel that is enjoyed by the reader.
8.Does writing energise or exhaust you?
Energise.
9. Are you on social media and can your readers interact with you?
Yes I’m on Facebook as are my books (H.O. WARD - Author).
10. How do you handle literary criticism?
Carefully.

That I like writing.

I’m not sure – I sit quietly and think about my writing and it comes.

My books have a message a question a challenge to the perception of life.
2. What was the inspiration for the story?
The evidence of the fraying of the world at large – its physicality – its spirituality - its need to change direction from what could be a possible outcome.
